QWhy should we buy our rings from The Remi Collection?

AThe founders of The Remi Collection have nearly 30 years experience in the jewellery industry between them and have used the knowledge and experience gained to create a beautiful range of high quality engagement, wedding and eternity rings to suit every design and budget. Careful selection of our partners and attention to detail throughout every aspect of our business ensures that costs and waste are kept to a minimum and combined with low overheads means that we can offer our fantastic range of rings at extremely competitive prices. As well as a huge range of standard designs we have a virtually limitless bespoke design capability and our willingness to work very closely with our customers enables us to produce perfect rings that are a delight to wear and a pleasure to own.

QDoes The Remi Collection have any shops?

ANo, we actually make all of the rings we sell to order. We exhibit our product range and services at wedding shows throughout the year, mainly around the south of the country. We operate a visit at home no obligation appointment service that is free, so in effect, the shop comes to you. Your Remi consultant will bring around 350 ring samples and you can try on as many as you wish – not easy in a High Street shop! One of the main benefits of us not having a shop is that we don't have the huge associated overheads, which therefore means we can offer our products direct to customers at much keener prices than you would normally expect to see elsewhere. We can also visit you outside of normal shop hours, which is a real benefit.

QCan you guarantee the cheapest prices?

ANo, we do not expect to be 'the cheapest' mainly because we supply high quality products and a personal service. However, we do try to keep our overheads to a minimum and our margins as low as we possibly can so that we can bring our products and services to you at very attractive prices. If you do find an identical product from an alternative source at a lower price then please let us know and we will endeavor to match or better it for you.

QWhich payment methods do you accept?

AWe accept deposits and balance payments by cash, cheque, credit or debit cards, bank transfer or Paypal. We must have a matching billing address for all card payments but you may choose a different delivery address for all cards except AMEX. A 30% deposit must be paid before we will proceed with an order and the balance payment is due before any order is dispatched. We do offer an interest free spread payment option for the outstanding balance.

QHow long does it take to make the rings?

AMost engagement, wedding and eternity rings take between 4 and 6 weeks to be made and delivered. All of our rings are made to order, we don't keep any finished rings in stock and this helps to keep our overheads low. We do have special super fast delivery services available for emergencies and can also accept an order with a delivery date specified for up to one year in advance. We can therefore be extremely flexible with regards to customer delivery requirements so please discuss your exact requirements with one of our sales consultants.

QHow are the rings delivered?

AWe use Royal Mail Special Delivery for all of our shipments. This is a signed for, insured, track-able, next day delivery service and in our experience, has proved to be the safest and most reliable method. If for any reason a ring needs to be returned to us, e.g. for re-sizing or re-polishing etc, we encourage our customers to use the same service

QCan you engrave our rings?

AYes, in fact we probably offer more engraving possibilities than any other UK ring manufacturer. You may have your ring either laser or hand engraved, inside or outside, whatever font or style you wish. We can even scan your own handwriting or fingerprint and engrave that as well. There really isn't a limit to what you could have engraved on your ring but with everything in life, sometimes simplest is best. We have a range of standard font's and engraving styles that meet most customer requirements.

QHow do I book a home visit appointment?

AYou can book a free home appointment either in person when you see us at a wedding show, by phone, email or simply by filling in an enquiry form for a date and time that suits you. Most people choose a week day evening or during the day on a Saturday but we can come and see you during a week day too. On average they take 1.5 – 2 hrs but we don't hold anyone to this time-frame!

QWhat happens at the appointment?

AThe home visit appointment service is at the very core of our business and therefore it's important to us that you enjoy the experience and that it works for you. You will be able to view and try on over 350 of our standard ring designs in the comfort of your own home and in your own time. Choosing your engagement, wedding or eternity ring/s should be a highly pleasurable experience and our knowledgeable, experienced sales consultants will certainly do their best to ensure it is stress-free. They are also there to inform, assist and advise you, especially if you are requiring a totally bespoke design.

QWhat happens if the ring doesn't fit?

AWe aim for this to never be a problem as your Remi consultant will size your finger at the appointment to ensure your ring is made in the correct size. However, should your ring feel tight or be too loose we will of course correct this problem for you.
